Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Partnerships to join our executive team. This role is pivotal as we scale our operations and establish Playroom as a leading publisher in the gaming industry. The ideal candidate will have a robust network within the gaming community, particularly with studios and publishers specializing in casual and midcore on mobile and web games. You will be instrumental in forging strategic partnerships, setting up our publishing division, and launching successful game titles on Discord.

In addition to the qualifications for the role, we highly value a strong social presence, particularly on platforms like LinkedIn and X (formerly Twitter). As the face of Little Umbrella (Playroom Games) to external studios and partners, your ability to represent the company and engage with the broader gaming community online is crucial. This visibility not only strengthens our brand but also fosters relationships and drives industry influence

Location: Remote (US or EU)

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Provide expert advice and insights to support the company in making informed decisions regarding partnerships and publishing strategies.
• Partnership Development: Leverage your established industry network to identify and secure partnerships with top-tier gaming studios and publishers.
• Contract Negotiation: Collaborate closely with the CEO to draft and finalize partnership terms that reflect Playroom’s objectives, market positioning, and competitive advantages.
• Publishing Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive roadmap and pipeline for publishing, ensuring alignment with Playroom's growth strategy.
• Title Curation: Identify and propose game titles that not only fit Playroom's brand but also enhance its reputation for delivering high-quality gaming experiences.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in senior partnerships in a Publishing house(Voodoo, Homa, Scopely, Madbox similar) or Platforms(Snap, Facebook, Crazygames or similar), with a focus on casual and midcore games.
• Extensive network of industry contacts, including gaming studios, publishers, and platforms.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successfully closing high-impact deals.
